COMMUNITY

RAG is committed to give back to our community through partnering with key organisations.

We continue to develop partnerships with charities as well as other organizations to strengthen the impact we can collectively make going forward.

  • CHARITY PARTNERSHIPS

RAG is passionate about giving back. Every year our brands work together to promote and raise money for their chosen charities,
whether it is for tackling mental health in the workplace or helping to fulfil the wishes of children battling life-threatening illness.

RAG is proud to support Thread Together. Thread Together is an organisation that collects brand-new end-of-line stock from fashion brands and donates it to people in need. Since 2019 RAG has provided direct support to Thread Together. This has included fully funding a van with specialised fit-out to facilitate the distribution of donated garments those in need. This is a 4-year commitment; $160k in total $40k per annum over 4 years. RAG has also donated in excess of 100,000 items of garments to those in need via Thread Together.

Tarocash is proud to look smart for a smart cause in partnership with Make-A-Wish. Make-A-Wish grants wishes to brave children battling life-threatening illnesses to create a positive, lasting impact on the lives of not only sick kids themselves, but also to their families and communities. Every season Tarocash creates and sells exclusive Make-a-Wish items donating all proceeds to the charity. The sale of these items along with generous donations from Tarocash customers has raised over $250,000 for Make-a-Wish to date. You can help support Make-A-Wish by donating in-store or online or buying any Make-A-Wish Tarocash item:

Connor is the Principal Partner of RUOK?, the suicide prevention charity. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of RUOK? merchandise in Connor stores and online go towards supporting RUOK?’s Community Ambassador program. To date Connor has facilitated over $5 million dollars of donations in support of RUOK?. This provides the training for the volunteer community ambassadors who visit schools, offices and other events to spread the word, raise awareness and help people ask, “are you OKAY?”. A conversation can change a life, as one may not be aware of the challenges that many in our communities are facing. All year round, you can donate directly to RUOK when you shop online or in-store with Connor at the checkout or on their own website.

One child dies every 5 minutes as a result of violence. That’s why yd. has partnered with the Polished Man & during the month of October we challenge all men and women to paint their fingernails. Fingernails that spark conversations. Conversations that inspire donations. Donations that allow for trauma recovery and prevention for children around the world. Because it shouldn’t hurt to be a child. Together we can help end violence against children.

At Johnny Bigg, every day we help men of all ages look and feel good in great looking clothes. We see the impact the right fit has on their confidence when we style them and the positive change this can bring in their attitudes to life. Equally, great mental health can make men shine from the inside-out too, and that’s why we’re proud to partner with Beyond Blue. Beyond Blue is a mental health charity that helps people living with anxiety and depression, providing support, advice and action. All year round, you can donate directly to Beyond Blue when you shop online or in-store with Johnny Bigg at the checkout or on their own website.

RAG is committed to preventing the textile waste we control from going to landfill. We have partnered with UPPAREL to ensure that garments or trimmings which cannot be donated to charity are repurposed, upcycled or recycled.
We are also working with UPPAREL on their UPCIRCLE service which gives customers the opportunity to donate old garments to prevent these going to landfill.
